TOM BLAISDELL - CEO, ALIGNPACT

Tom Blaisdell's background includes 30 years of operating and investing experience in venture-backed companies, as well as stints in both the consulting and academic worlds. His current focus is advising/investing in FinTech startups reaching under-served markets as well as helping under-represented GPs raise their first VC funds.

 

DAN DUNCAN - President, Summit House

Dan Duncan has held various roles in creative ventures. Currently, he's President and Co-Founder/Partner at Summit House since January 2021. Previously, he co-founded Oust in October 2016 and Osleeper MFG Co. in October 2015. He also co-founded Forth District in July 2013 and worked at ADDO Worldwide and Remedy Films. Dan studied Telecommunication Arts at The University of Georgia from 2006 to 2010.

 

DONNA HARRIS - CEO, BUILDERS BACKERS

Donna Harris is Founder of Builders + Backers, Co-Founder & Managing Partner of 1776 Ventures, and was previously Managing Director of the Startup America Partnership. As a board member of both the Global Entrepreneurship Network and the National Center for Entrepreneurship, an Advisor to the Economic Innovation Group, and a Distinguished Fellow of the Ciocca Center for Principled Entrepreneurship at The Busch School, Donna works to inspire entrepreneurs to create companies of impact and to become leaders in their communities. She avidly believes in the power of entrepreneurial thinking to drive culture change and collective flourishing and she frequently gives keynote talks to inspire it at conferences and on college campuses around the world.

 

PHILIP CARSON - INVESTOR, CUBIT CAPITAL

Philip Carson is a founding member of Cubit Capital, a venture capital firm investing in technology-driven solutions for societal advancement. Specializing in early-stage investments in Energy, Defense, and Infrastructure Resilience, Philip previously worked at Cape Capital Partners focusing on industrial investments. He holds an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute of Chicago. Based in Dallas, Texas, Philip and his family are actively involved in local church ministries.

 

WES LYONS - GENERAL PARTNER, EAGLE VENTURE FUND

Wes Lyons is a servant to the entrepreneurs who are restoring the world. He is a General Partner at Eagle Venture Fund, where he leads Eagle's investment themes of combating human trafficking and economic opportunities for the poor. In his previous career, Wes and his wife were both naval flight officers, where they hunted submarines, pirates, and terrorists. He is the father of four sons in Dallas, TX.

 

EDDY BADRINA - CEO, EDEN GREEN TECHNOLOGY

As the CEO of Eden Green, an agtech company which is changing the way we grow food and feed people, Eddy Badrina is driven by systems thinking and frameworks to grow and scale organizations. Previously, he was Co-Founder and President of BuzzShift, a digital strategy agency for mid-sized brands and organizations. Eddy and his co-founder had the unique opportunity to sell BuzzShift in 2016, reacquire it, and sell it again in 2021.

 

PETE OCHS - FOUNDER, ENTERPRISE STEWARDSHIP

Pete is the Founder and Chairman of Capital III, an investment company that owns and operates various privately held companies in the US, Honduras, and Mexico. Industries in which Capital III has invested include banking, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, real-estate, energy, and private education with a geographical focus on the US and Latin America. Prior to founding Capital III, Mr. Ochs spent 8 years in the commercial banking industry. Mr. Ochs graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in business and finance. He currently serves on the boards of UTG, Inc., the American Independence Funds, World Impact and Trinity Academy. Mr. Ochs is married to Deborah and they have 4 children and 8 grandchildren.

 

DAVID TROGDEN - OWNER & INVESTOR

David Trogden is the Founder of Probo Medical. Based in Fishers, IN, Probo repairs and resells refurbished medical equipment. Started in 2014 out of David’s garage, Probo Medical quickly became one of the fastest growing companies in America - recognized as the 2nd fastest growing private company in Indiana. After completing 12 strategic acquisitions from 2017 to 2022, Probo sold to Avista Capital Partners in 2022. David is now focused on stewarding resources in purposeful ways. David has a degree in Economics from DePauw University (’04) and has an MBA from Indiana University (’09). He has been named one of Indianapolis’ 40 under 40. David currently lives in Indianapolis, IN with his wife and two daughters. After selling his business, the family purchased an RV and traveled the country. In addition to traveling, David loves all things Kentucky – especially bourbon and basketball.

 

BROOKE HEMPELL - SVP, RESEARCH; PINKSTON

Pinkston is a Washington, DC-based integrated marketing and communications firm serving business, nonprofit and government clients. Brooke overseas all research and analytics functions, including strategy and planning for campaigns. Brooke formerly led research for Barna Group, helping churches, ministries and nonprofits to understand and navigate trends in culture and faith. Prior to that she was a research and marketing strategy consultant for Fortune 100 companies for nearly 15 years. Brooke lives in Atlanta with her husband and two kids and is involved in racial reconciliation and justice ministries, church planting, education and life transformation work.

 

BEN CHELF - CEO, SOL; ELEMENTUM VENTURES

Ben Chelf, Co-founder and CEO of Sol and Founding Partner at Elementum Ventures, previously was a co-founder of Coverity, a company birthed from his research as a PhD student at Stanford. Coverity attracted investment from the likes of Benchmark Capital and Foundation Capital, employed hundreds of people, and, in 2014, was acquired by Synopsys. Ben served as both COO and CTO, defining product strategy and working closely with customers and the press and analyst communities. He's been named to ComputerWorld's Top 40 under 40 Innovative IT Professionals and is in the Stanford Inventor Hall of Fame. Ben has lived every part of the entrepreneurial cycle.

 

SHAUN ZACHARIA - FOUNDER & INVESTOR

Shaun Zacharia is a founder and advisor. Shaun was previously the Co-Founder & President of TripleLift, a leading enterprise software company which he grew from startup to its sale. Shaun has since turned his attention towards building and investing in redemptive moonshots that alleviate oppression by increasing censorship resistance. Shaun graduated summa cum laude from Georgia Tech in 2010 with a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and attended Harvard Business School before withdrawing from the MBA class of 2014 to co-found TripleLift.
