MISSY WALLACE - IN TRANSITION, CONSULTING & COACHING AS A BRIDGE; 90SEVENTEEN
Missy is currently serving as a consultant as she determines her next role. She is a former Managing Director of Redeemer City to City (CTC) and Founder and ED of Nashville Institute for Faith and Work. Before she entered ministry, she helped start a high school in Nashville and worked at The Boston Consulting Group and Bank of America in Chicago, NYC, Singapore, Bangkok and Charlotte. She cares deeply about how strategy intersects spiritual discernment as well as the integration of mercy and justice with faith and work. Her journey includes three critically ill children (now young adults) which has formed her faith and her vocational posture. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt (BA) and Northwestern Kellogg (MBA).
CHRIS CRANE - CO-FOUNDER & BOARD MEMBER, EDIFY
Chris Crane is the Co-Founder & Board Member of Edify, a nonprofit social enterprise that makes small and medium enterprise loans and other services to improve 29,000 Christ-centered schools in Africa and Latin America. Previously, he served as CEO of Edify, as well as as President/CEO of Opportunity International, which provided microfinance loans in 28 emerging nations. In 1992, Chris acquired COMPS InfoSystems, Inc. and served as President and CEO until he sold the company in 2000. Under his leadership, COMPS grew from a print-based publishing firm to an electronic database publisher of 420 employees. Chris has received the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award and earned an MBA from Harvard.
KURT KEILHACKER - GENERAL PARTNER, ELEMENTUM VENTURES
Kurt Keilhacker, a General Partner at Elementum Ventures in Menlo Park, CA, has been a co-founder and CEO of several Silicon Valley companies. Before co-founding Elementum, he invested in over 50 U.S. and European startups with TechFund Capital and TechFund Europe. Alongside his corporate board commitments, Kurt serves as the Board Chair at Praxis, a Trustee at Wheaton College, and a member of the Dean's Council at Harvard Divinity School. He also teaches graduate courses in strategy, analytics, and entrepreneurship at the University of San Francisco. A Wheaton graduate, Kurt earned an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MLA from Stanford, and an MTS from Harvard.
JENNIFER OAKLEY - PARTNER, IMAGO DEI FUND
Jennifer Oakley works to advance the Imago Dei Fund's strategic priorities domestically and internationally. She collaborates with current and prospective grantee partners, directing a portfolio of investments across multiple sectors. Jennifer has a deep desire to bring together talented leaders and impactful organizations from different sectors and to encourage collaboration among the broader philanthropic community. She is an active member of a number of funder networks, including the Network of Engaged International Donors, Professionals in Christian Philanthropy, and Big Bang Philanthropy. Prior to joining IDF, Jennifer practiced law at firms in Washington, DC, and Boston.
KATIE MCNERNEY - FOUNDER, LEADERFIT
Katie McNerney is an entrepreneur passionate about increasing social impact by helping mission-driven organizations recruit and develop leadership talent. Katie is the Founder and Partner of LeaderFit, an executive search firm serving nonprofits, foundations, and social enterprises. LeaderFit recently launched Purpose Path, a structured career coaching program that inspires and prepares professionals to pursue leadership roles at social impact organizations. As a 2017 Presidential Leadership Scholar, Katie is working to adapt Purpose Path’s curriculum to help veterans translate their skills to leadership roles across the social sector. Katie earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Katie lives in Washington, D.C.
AMY BLACK - FOUNDER, MISSION SQUARED
Amy Black is the founder of Mission Squared, which supports mission-driven organizations to overcome the strategic, cultural, financial, and scaling challenges teams face in times of change or growth. Prior to launching Mission Squared in 2018, Amy led the growth strategy of the Teach For All network as it expanded from two to 45 countries. Her previous experiences includes serving as the executive director of Teach For America in Washington, DC, and a Teach For America corps member in Baltimore City. Amy also worked as a Presidential Management Fellow at the US State Department on the team that launched the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. Amy is passionate about supporting social entrepreneurs to strengthen and scale their work to be able to serve more people.
CHRISTIN CARDONE MCCLAVE - PARTNER/INVESTOR, ORANGESTAR VENTURES
Christin McClave is an executive leader, coach and the former Chief Operating Officer and board member of CARDONE Industries as of May 2019, when she helped lead the successful sale process of her 3rd generation family business to one of the largest, global private equity firms. Christin held various executive roles with global responsibility for all company operating functions, and was the trusted advisor to the CEO. CARDONE is a global, sustainable manufacturing company headquartered in Philadelphia, producing automotive aftermarket parts with revenues of $1.2B. Christin serves on the “Strong Women, Strong World†advisory council for World Vision and is a member of the Forum of Executive Women. Things that make Christin smile are skiing, horseback riding, college football, her son fixing his car, and helping people make purposeful, lasting connections. She lives in suburban Philadelphia with her husband, Dan, and three boys, ages 12, 15, and 17.
JEFF DYKSTRA - VENTURE PARTNER, PRAXIS
Jeff Dykstra is passionate about bringing together unusual partners. In his role as Co-Founder and CEO of Partners in Food Solutions (PFS), he leads international food companies, promising food companies in Africa, the US government, private donors, NGOs, and impact investors as they come together to improve food security, nutrition, and economic development across Africa. Jeff has spent half his career in business and the other in international development working for both global organizations and several start-up ventures. For his work with PFS, Jeff has been named both an Ashoka Fellow and Bush Fellow. Jeff is a Westmont College graduate and recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Organizational Leadership at Oxford University.
DAVID SIMMS - MANAGING PARTNER, TALANTON
David has served as president of Opportunity U.S and Chaired the Opportunity Global board during a time when we had some ten million clients. He was a founding chair of MicroEnsure, a Bridgespan Partner, S.E.V.P. at MBNA, CEO of the Red Cross Washington/Baltimore Region, and a White House Fellow. David started his career at Bain & Co. David and Kim live in the U.S. and have two wonderful adult sons. They enjoy sailing, touring historic sites, involvement with both their local church and C12 and serving throughout the developing world. David graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Penn/Wharton and has a joint J.D. and MBA with distinction from Harvard.
PHILIP YAN - DIRECTOR, CENTER FOR REDEMPTIVE ENTREPRENEURSHIP, TYNDALE UNIVERSITY
Philip is the founding director of the Centre for Redemptive Entrepreneurship (CRE) at Tyndale University. Having been a co-founder of two social enterprises, KLINCK Coffee and Red Propeller, selling services and products to employ people with barriers to employment, Philip sees the critical value of addressing service gaps with an entrepreneurial mindset. Philip also runs GenesisXD, a business on digital solutions for community engagement. In addition, his passion for the young adults' ministry and his serving on several ministry boards deepen his understanding and experience of the relationships between leadership, ministry, and innovation.
